Janelle's career got started when she decided to move to New York and attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy to major in drama. After that she moved to Atlanta in 2001 and met Big Boi. It's the stage name for Antwan André Patton who was in Outkast. He got into music in high school when he attended a magnet school. Schools like that are basically specialized courses geared towards your program. Will's sister did that and she loved it, it's probably the only reason she actually finished high school. Anyway, back to these guys. Together they started the Wondaland Arts Society. Antwan released four albums in the Outkast duo, then each member did a solo album but released them together still under the Outkast name. Janelle released an EP, but it had a minimal print so it's rare, and then she got featured on Outkast's next album. This is around the time when Antwan introduced Janelle to Sean Combs (P. Diddy to any 90's babies) who helped build her career. This song came out in 2010 and was obviously huge. They've both been making music since this song, his latest album released last year, and one of her songs is really big on the radio right now. So they've got great careers and I'm sure I'll feature them again soon.
