Year 8, Day 304

Hey guys. Today's song is Rescue Me by One Republic.

This is an American pop rock group who've been around in some iteration since 1996 and is currently made up of Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle, Eddie Fisher, and Brian Willet. So the first version was created by the first two guys I named, and was called This Beautiful Mess and played at coffee houses until graduating and splitting to go to college. The two guys reformed in 2002 and renamed themselves Republic. Within a year they were signed and with a little shuffle, we ended up with most of the current lineup. The label convinced them to update their name to differentiate from some other groups, thus One Republic was born, but before they could release their album the label dropped them. MySpace is what kept them from dissolving at the time, and was how other labels found them. So in 2007, with Timbaland's new label, their debut album was released. It was sub par, and Timbaland ended up rearranging their song to give it a different sound and making it a hit. Their second album came out in 2009 and did better than the first, with some songs even being featured in pop culture stuff. After touring with Pink they went on hiatus, returning in 2013. By 2015 the group was working on their next album, promising a different sound and released it by late 2016. After that album, rather than doing another one, they released some singles for a couple years in between their performances.  They're fifth album was released in 2021, and they have had some more music used in movies and are working on their next album so keep an eye out for that.

Hey guys. Today's song is I'm Not Dead Yet by Mike Posner.

Mike Posner is an American musician active since 2007. He started as a record producer while working on mixtapes of his own in his off time, the second of which got him some bigger attention in 2009. He re-recorded and released it as Mike Posner & The Brain Trust, putting it out on iTunes for free through a loophole they had for educational content (since his tape was recorded at a university). He signed with a label halfway through college, but went back for his senior year and worked on his album in between. His debut album was released in 2010. He won a ASCAP Award for publishing in 2011, and was working on his next album while releasing some singles and a mixtape when it all got to him. So he took a little time off from working on his own stuff and focused on writing and producing for others while dealing with his depression. He was talking about working on another album in 2013 (but I don't think it was actually released, it's hard to confirm it) then he toured in 2014. In 2015 he released a single, followed by an EP featuring it. His next album was released in 2016. In 2017 he did a bunch of collaboration projects with other artists before releasing a poetry album in 2018, followed by another album in 2019. He also released a mixtape that year, and put out another album in 2020. So there is lots for you to check out from him if you're interested. At least check out today's song because it's probably my favorite one that he's ever done.

Hey guys. Today's song is Arcade by Duncan Laurence featuring Fletcher.

Duncan Laurence is the stage name for Duncan de Moor, a Dutch musician active since 2014. He started out writing music, and playing in a couple different bands including The Slick and Suited, performing with them at a festival in 2013. He auditioned for Holland's version of the Voice in 2014, getting into the semi-finals before being eliminated. He left the band in 2016, graduated in 2017, and wrote music for a K-pop group in 2018. He was selected as a representative for the Netherlands in Eurovision in 2019, winning the competition. He toured around the Netherlands and released a single, then signed with a label. He released his debut EP and debut album in 2020, with this song from the album going viral online. He did some stuff for Eurovision 2021 (the 2020 competition had to be cancelled so he was still the reigning champion) and was supposed to perform, but tested positive beforehand. Also in 2021 he was included on a couple different albums, and then in 2022 was a judge for The Voice Kids in Belgium. As of now he has a song out for and is working on his next album, so keep an eye out for that. Fletcher is the stage name for Carli Fletcher, an American musician active since 2015 with the release of her debut single. She has been on the X-Factor in 2011 and put into a girl group, but it was disbanded after they were taken out of the competition. After moving to Nashville, she released her debut single in 2015 which went viral online, followed by her releasing an EP in 2016 independently. In 2018 she was living in LA and was signed to a label, releasing an EP in 2019 and performing at a couple festivals. She was supposed to open for Niall Horan in 2020, but the tour was cancelled, and she released an EP in the interim. Her debut album was released in 2022 so if you want to check out more of her stuff go look that up.

Hey guys. Today's song is Into Your Arms by Witt Lowry featuring Ava Max. 

Witt Lowry is an American rapper that has been active since at least 2011 which is when his YouTube channel went active. He has songs listed from him from as early as 2014 and up to now. Spotify lists him of having three albums, one from 2017, one from 2019, and one from 2022 although I can't tell if those were full albums or EPs. Either way there's a bunch for you to check out if you like the sound. Ava Max is the stage name for Amanda Koci whose been active in the industry since 2013. She adopted the middle name Ava at 13, saying she never felt like an Amanda. Originally known as just AVA, she released her debut single in 2013. She failed to get a demo picked up for a couple years until meeting the record producer Cirkut in 2015. In 2016 she released a song she worked on with him through SoundCloud, which gained popularity and led to her being signed. This is when she added the last name, which according to her adds a masculine element to the femininity of just Ava. She has two listed albums, one from 2020 and another that was released this year so check that out.

Hey guys. Today's song is Devil Doesn't Bargain by Alec Benjamin.

Alec Benjamin is an American singer active since 2013. He actually started out signed, but after submitting his album the label broke the partnership. He didn't let it deter him though, so he went on a tour through Europe, sometimes playing in parking lots outside of concerts and handing out his business cards. In 2017 his music was used in America's Got Talent and in 2019 his mixtape made it on the Billboard 200. Fun Fact: one of the songs from that was redone and released by Alessia Cara. He got signed again in 2018 to Atlantic Records, then his debut album was released in 2020. As of 2021 he's with a different label and released an album in 2022, so go check that out.

Hey guys. Today's song is Cold-Blooded by Beth Crowley. 

Beth Crowley got her start in 2011 when she posted a video on YouTube that went viral. After that she started focusing on original music, releasing a song on YouTube in 2013 that was based on the Cassandra Clare novel series. She has done many different songs inspired by fiction, including this one which is inspired by the first book of the Folk In The Air series by Holly Black which I actually have been reading this month, so it feels like fate that I found this song now. She's released two EPs and a full length album, and is also writing her own novel so she's still going strong. If you're curious about other book-based songs, go check her out. You never know what you'll find.

Hey guys. Today's song is Meet You In Hell by Jade LeMac.

Jade LeMac is a Canadian singer that is still relatively new in the industry, debuted as a featured vocolist in 2018 on a Dion Timmer song. Prior to that she was considered a TikTok star, but now she does do her own music, posting onto her YouTube channel over the last year. I've featured her before, so clearly I enjoy her stuff and I hope you do too.

Hey guys. Today's song is Cinderella Snapped by Jax.

JAX is the stage name for Jaclyn Miskanic, an American singer active since 2015 when she auditioned for American Idol. She made it to the top three before being eliminated, but it earned her enough recognition to keep going with a musical career after. She released a song in 2016 based on her experience on the show, followed by an EP in 2017. She was involved in some controversy in 2018 for performing at the White House during the Trump era, but clapped back at people for bullying her when she was trying to honour the troops. Which I can see both sides: if you do something publicly it is available to the public to have opinions on, but people are also gonna do what they're gonna do. She signed with a label in 2021 and was doing some stuff on TikTok. She released some singles in 2022 and then this one which was released this year, so if you're interested go check out some of her other stuff.

Hey guys. Today's song is Shipping Up To Boston by Mia and Ally.

So this song is a collaboration between two online musicians, violinist Mia Asano and Ally the Piper, who is a singer and multi-instrumentalist but is famously known for playing the bagpipes. Mia's YouTube channel has been active since 2012, and Ally's has been active since 2013. So Mia has been classically trained on the violin since she was 5, but while she was attending the Berklee College of Music she started posting on TikTok and Instagram, with one of her songs going viral. She's moved to playing with an electric violin and posting more stuff online. Ally started out as a competitive bagpiper, winning the 2012 World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, and continuing to compete until 2016 when she switched to focus on her solo career and has been posting things online and generally introducing people to bagpipes beyond what we know them as. They released this song together and are advertising a joint tour so look into that and check out their other stuff.

Hey guys. Today's song is Magic by Lindsey Stirling featuring David Archuleta.

Lindsey Stirling is an American violinist, active since 2007. When she was a kid, her parents could only afford to get her half violin lessons, amounting to 15 minutes a week, but she excelled regardless. She was in a couple of bands while in school, where she started to write music and one of her compositions actually cinched her win of a Junior Miss title. In 2010 Lindsey auditioned for and made it into the quarter finals for America's Got Talent before being sent home. She started focusing more on her YouTube channel, releasing music regularly, growing her subscriber base exponentially in 2011 before releasing her first album in 2012. In 2013 she signed a deal with Troy Carter, who also manages Lady Gaga, and went on a World Tour before competing on Dance Showdown, a YouTuber dance competition. Her album was re-released in 2013 with some new songs, and she won a YouTube Music Award for her collaboration with Pentatonix. In 2014 she was nominated for an Echo Music Award, announced the release of her second album, and went on another World Tour. Her album earned her a Billboard Music Awards nomination and a Teen Choice Award. In 2015 she was on Forbes 30 Under 30, won another YouTube Music Award, won an Echo Award and was nominated twice in the Billboard Music Awards. In 2016 she published an autobiography which became a New York Time bestseller, and released her third album and she started having writing credits for music in pop culture. She started having some big names collaborations, and even had her song sampled by another artist before it was announced in 2017 that she would be a contestant on Dancing With the Stars, in which she came in second place. She released her fourth album and did some more touring and appearances on other albums, including on an album by Evanescence before joining Dancing With the Stars for one trio dance and being offered a spot in the America's Got Talent: The Champions lineup and declined. She released another album in 2019 and started to tour but the pandemic postponed it. Her songs were used in some more pop culture stuff like The Umbrella Academy and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She's done an EP, some more collaborations and more touring now that she can again and released her next album in 2022. David Archuleta is an American singer active since 2003. He started out on the TV show Star Search before trying out for American Idol in 2008, placing second. Since then he's released eight albums with the first in 2008 and the most recent from 2020. He's released a couple singles since then and in 2022 starred in a Utah production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He's a great artist and there's lots from him so go check it all out.

Hey guys. Today's song is Million Pieces by Bastille featuring The Chamber Orchestra of London.

Bastille is an English group active since 2010 and made up of Dan Smith, Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson, and Chris Wood. They started out independent, releasing some singles in 2010 and an EP in 2011. They also started putting stuff up online, earning them a bigger audience and eventually a record contract. Their first single with that label came out in 2012, followed by their debut album in 2013 which jumped their popularity up by a crazy level, hitting number one in the UK Albums Chart. I'm sure you'd be able to recognize some of the songs on that album, which were released as singles as well and became very popular, being played constantly on the radio. They released an EP in 2013 as well, then won a BRIT Award in 2014 for Breakthrough Act and were nominated for a Grammy in 2015. Their second album was released in 2016, which won them an NME Award in 2017. They released some singles in 2018 leading up to their third album release in 2019. They released another EP in 2020, followed by singles through 2021 leading to the release of their fourth and most recent album in 2022. This recording is from 2019 and is obviously an orchestral version done with the Chamber Orchestra of London. I love when artists do stuff with orchestras, it always puts a little extra into their music and this one is no exception. Hope you enjoy.

Chase Wright is an American country singer whose been active since at least 2019. He first got into country music while he was in college, learning to play guitar. After graduating he moved to Nashville to pursue a music career and would play gigs and post music online to build a following. He signed a publishing deal and has since released his debut album in 2021 and has been posting more music and behind the scenes stuff since then. So if this is your style give it a listen.

Hey guys. Today's song is Cold At The Altar by Chris Kläfford.

Chris Kläfford is a Swedish musician active since 2010. He spent the beginning of career performing in bars and building his following before he auditioned for Swedish Idol in 2017 which he won. He released an EP in 2017, then toured through the summer in 2018. He released another EP in 2019 and did more touring in Sweden, then auditioned for America's Got Talent, making it through to the semi-finals before being eliminated. He released a couple singles before releasing another EP in 2021 and finally released his debut album this year. So I expect more from him in the future, but for now we can enjoy this.

So Zach Hood is another newer artist. He started off with posting covers on Instagram while in junior high, then in high school he got on TikTok. As many other TikTok artists, his songs went viral and his songs just kept getting more and more views and earning him exposure. He was signed to a label in 2021. He already has a handful of singles out, and I've already shown one earlier, but I'm featuring him again because I like his stuff. So enjoy.

Hey guys. Today's song is If You Love Her by Forest Blakk.

Forest Blakk is a Canadian musician active since at least 2015 which is when he released his debut single. He released another song in 2017, followed by his first EP in 2018. He released his second EP in 2020. This song is also from 2020, although there is a second version of it that was released in 2021 featuring Meghan Trainor, so you can go look for that one if you're interested. He released his debut album in 2022, and was also nominated for a Juno Award that year. He's a new find for me, but I like his stuff and I hope to see more from him in the future.

Hey guys. Today's song is Memory by Sam McGovern.

So this is a new and new to me artist. Sam McGovern is an Australian musician that's been active since at least 2019. He released his debut single in 2021 which earned him a WAM Song Of The Year nomination. He also appeared as a contestant on The Voice Australia in 2022, then was put with Keith Urban, but was eliminated during the callbacks. He's been working on his music since, with this song going up at the beginning of this year, so check out the song and if you like it keep an eye out for him in the future.

Hey guys. Today's song is Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop by Landon Pigg.

Landon Pigg is an American musician active since at least 2002 when his debut album was released. In 2006 he released two EPs and another album, and when his music was used on Grey's Anatomy it increased his music's play nationally. His songs were used in more TV shows and commercials, and he made appearances performing on a couple late night talk shows. In 2007 he released another EP, followed closely by another in 2008. He acted in A Fine Frenzy music video in 2009, was featured on the TV show Parenthood, and acted in the movie Whip It. He released another album in 2009, then co-wrote a song for Shrek 3 in 2010, before acting in another movie in 2012. He did a fundraising campaign through his YouTube channel in 2011 for Invisible Children, along with playing in the fundraising tour at a couple colleges. There hasn't been too much from him since. He did a cover song with William Close in 2014 and released a single in 2019, but other than that it has been quiet. In any case, I enjoy this song and his other stuff so hopefully you do too.

Candelion is another artist that I found because they are partnered with Epidemic Sound, but unfortunately when trying to look them up it seems like there is more than one group who goes by this name so I can't accurately give any information about them and know it's true other than their affiliation with Epidemic Sound. As for Cody Francis, I can say that he's an American musician active since at least 2019 since that's when his YouTube channel went up. He has a couple more songs posted on it, and is also affiliated with Epidemic Sound (obviously) so check that out if you're interested.

Hey guys. Today's song is Jude's Song by Connor Price.

So Connor Price is an actor and a rapper, and before I knew his music I actually am surprised that I knew him from when I was watching X Company. He started as a child actor, and has been in TV shows and movies since 2000. As for his music career, it seems to have started in 2017, which is when his first single is listed as being released. He's released a ton more singles since then, along with two EPs from 2018 and 2022. He had a new album that was released this year for you to check out as well if you're interested.

Hey guys. Today's song is Dirty Looks by Lainey Wilson.

Lainey Wilson is an American country singer active since 2011 when she finished high school and moved to Nashville. She played some small shows for awhile before releasing her debut album in 2014, followed by another in 2016 with a different label. She got some noticed and ended up on the Billboard Top Country Albums list in 2016. She independently released an EP in 2018 before signing with a label. She released another EP in 2019. She released some singles including this one before her next album was released in 2021, with another followed closely in 2022. She was nominated for six CMA Awards in 2022 and has since joined the cast of the TV show Yellowstone so check that out if you're curious.

Hey guys. Today's song is Just Do It by Houses On The Hill featuring Emmi.

So I can't find any bio at all about Houses On The Hill, the only thing I know for sure is they are another artist working with Epidemic Sound which has easily become my favorite place to find music. I do have another song from this artist to feature later so hopefully I'll find something out about them in time for that. And then I've featured Emmi before. Emmi is Emily Green, a British/Australian singer active since 2015. She has an EP from 2018 and a bunch of her own singles, plus has been featured on other songs like this one. So if you like the song, look up both these artists.

Hey guys. Today's song is It Matters To Her by Scotty McCreery. 

Scotty McCreery is an American country singer active since 2011 after winning that year's season of American Idol. As normal, he released his finale song after the competition and it went big, then he was signed with a Nashville label. He did the American Idol tour, as well as some other performances, before releasing his debut album near the end of 2011. In 2012 he won a ACM Award for Best New Artist and opened for Brad Paisley on his tour before releasing a Christmas album. His next album was released in 2013 and had released a single in 2015 in preparation for his next album, but split with the label in 2016 before it could be released. He released a book in 2016, and signed with new management the same year before signing with a new label in  2017. He released an album in 2018, then released some singles sporadically over the next couple years before his next album came out in 2021. This song and its video specifically is super adorable as it shows him and his wife getting ready for their baby, so congratulations to them on their new addition and I hope you enjoy the song.

Alright this is going to be the last of the impromptu conservation week things and rather than shout out a specific group working for the greater good, I'm gonna talk about a farming concept that if we find a way to work it right can conserve water, reduce the amount of farming space needed which could allow the wilderness and habitats to get a foothold back. I'm talking about aquaponics, and this guy's video breaks down the process and the pro's and con's really well, so give it a watch. Like other things I've featured it's not a perfect system, but I would argue that it's better than what we're doing now environment-wise and hopefully we'll see change come into the industry in the near future.

Hey guys. Today's song is Redhead by Caylee Hammack featuring Reba McEntire.

Caylee Hammack is an American country singer active since 2018. She moved to Nashville in 2013 and started sneaking into bars with a fake ID so she could play her music. She did cover songs, as well as some originals including this one. She was signed in 2018 and released her debut single in 2019 then opened for a bunch of country stars. In 2020 she wrote a song about her ex boyfriends, which was given to Chris Stapleton to sing. Later that year she was nominated for New Female Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards. She was supposed to tour with Reba McEntire and Luke Bryan, but it was cancelled because of the pandemic. Her debut album was released in 2020 and that's where this song with Reba featured on it comes on. I wont go into detail on Reba because we're covered her before and I think everyone knows her so we'll go fast. Reba is a country music star active since 1974 and has released a whopping 32 albums over her career with the latest from 2019. She's also done a fair amount of acting, I remember watching her show on TV when I was younger. I can think of no reason that she'd be added to this track other than she is country's iconic redhead and honestly that's enough for me because this song sound great. Hope you enjoy it.

So today's environmental thing is dealing with recycling and habitat conservation as a secondary function. Two college students started Glass Half Full in Louisiana as a glass recycling facility since the facilities to reuse and remake glass bottles was so far away and not worth the transportation to move it. So instead, they break down the glass from their area and turn it into sand, as the natural levels have been rapidly decreasing over time. Using the glass sand they have been able to help shore up the lines in nature and help preserve the area's wetlands, keeping the declining habitats safe. And before you ask, yes this is safe for the environment, and the company actually works in conjunction with Tulane's research department to rigorously test its affects and give their approval. Ideally this could be adapted in other areas that are too far away for remaking facilities and help curb two problems with one function. Watch the video, it's pretty cool project.

Hey guys. Today's song is We're Gonna Be Drinking by d'Artagnan featuring Candice Night, Blackmore's Night.

So d'Artagnan is a German band active since 2015 and made up of Benjamin Metzner, Tim Bernard, Gustavo Strauss, Sebastian Baumann, Matthias Böhm, and Haiko Heinz with past members including Felix Fischer and Hans Platz. They've released five albums over their career, with the first in 2016 and the most recent from 2022. This song features Candice Night, which is one of two members of Blackmore's Night, a British/American band active since 1997. The other member of the group is Ritchie Blackmore, but they have a huge list of additional members that I assume just aren't in it full time. They've released 11 albums through their career, with the latest from 2021. So go check out both groups and tell me what you think.

Now for the conservation... this is less conservation and more sustainability, but it does affect both things. Lately there has been a lot of talk about plastic, specifically single use plastic that get used in most packaging and production, and then ends up in landfills and the ocean and will outlast all of use because it takes so long to break down. Well today I'm shouting out the packaging company Notpla, based out of London, that makes biodegradable, sustainable packaging using seaweed. If we swapped this out for all the plastic that we can it would make an incredible difference to our environmental footprint, since seaweed is a natural product and is a carbon negative (has a net effect of removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere) which is really the goal we're working towards when it comes to living environmentally conscious. So check out this video showing what they do, and share it around with your friends to make people more aware of the options.

George Ezra is an English musician active since 2013. He started school at the Modern Music Institute in 2011, and in 2013 played on the BBC Introducing stage at a festival, beginning his career. He released his debut EP the same year and started to get some radio play on his songs. In 2014 he started being featured on a bunch of New Artist lists before releasing his second EP. He also released his debut album in 2014, which charted around the world. He did some touring in 2015, along with being nominated for four BRIT Awards. In 2017 he did some secret shows to debut some new material before releasing a new album in 2018. He spent some more time touring before releasing his next album in 2022 and plans  to be touring throughout Europe this year, so keep an eye out for him if you're in that part of the world. On to the impromptu conservation station this week. I'm going to highlight another water conservation thing today. Most people know about coral reefs dying off from bleaching which is as serious a problem as the Amazon disappearing, so today we're going to talk about efforts by the Coral Restoration Foundation that actively works at trying to repopulate the reefs with coral that fixes the biodiversity of the reefs. Now this group is based out of Florida fixing the Florida reefs, but the Great Barrier Reef is in Australia, so there is another group called the Great Barrier Reef Foundation doing the same over there. In the future I hope they'll move from just using the tree nursery method, but anything is better than nothing right now. Both groups are doing great work and are simultaneously fixing the world's oceans so give them some love today, and watch the video explaining what they do.

Hey guys. Today's song is Don't Give Up On Me by Andy Grammer.

Andy Grammer is an American musician active since 2007, starting out with busking until he was discovered in 2009 and signed to a label. He released his debut album in 2011, then toured with Natasha Bedingfield and Colbie Caillet. He released another album in 2014, then competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2015, placing 7th. That year he also performed at the World Series, then performed in 2016 at the AFC Championship Game, along with releasing a single. His next album was released in 2017, followed by his next album in 2019, of which this is the lead single on. Most of the songs I know from him are featured in movies, and this one is no different, with even the music video being scenes from Five Feet Apart. He's still going strong with an EP released in 2022, so check that out if you're interested. Alright I did mention that I've been getting into a stint of conservation projects so for today I'm going to feature Make A Change, specifically the Sungai Watch that has been working to clean the trash out of Indonesia's rivers, and keep track of what they're pulling out to try to work with those companies to stop the problem at the source. Which is an important step, so check out their project.

Year 8, Day 277

Hey guys. Today's song is 'Til I Found You by Jeremy Loops.

Jeremy Loops is the stage name for Jeremy Hewitt, a South African musician active since 2009. He started playing guitar while in college, and after graduating he wasn't sure about going into finance like what his degree was in, and took a two year round-the-world trip while working on a super yacht. When he came back he decided to pursue music full time in 2010. He released his debut EP in 2011, with many of the songs reappearing in his debut studio album that was released in 2014 in South Africa. It became a huge hit, and he spent the rest of the year touring around South Africa. The album was released in North America in 2015, followed by three tours through that area, then released in Europe in 2016. As of now he's released two more albums, one in 2018 and another in 2022, with the one in 2018 focusing on the water shortage that was happening in Cape Town at the time. It's also worth noting that Loop co-founded the group Greenpop which focusing on replanting as a way to restore ecosystems. Apparently this has become my impromptu week of shouting out wildlife conservation efforts, so please check out this one today and the one from yesterday to see what they've got going on.

Year 8, Day 276

Hey guys. Today's song is Watercolor by Forester.

So Forester is an American duo, active since 2019 and made up of David Parris and Xander Carlson. They started with doing music part time while working their regular jobs, but their first single was big enough to earn them a deal with a label when the song went viral. They released their debut album in 2019 before signing with Kygo's label in 2020 and releasing another album that year. They also have a third album now that was released in 2022 from which this is the title song. On top of making music they also are big on conservation, with their YouTube stating that "a pillar of the project is the preservation of the nature that’s inspired Forester, with the guys donating a portion of the revenue from their debut album to The Nature Conservancy." Which is a noble cause and honestly something everyone needs to get behind like 20 years ago if we even want a future on this planet. And on that note I'm also going to shout out Mossy Earth today, which is a group that works on restoring ecosystems to help fix climate change. Their YouTube channel shows some of their projects and this video in particular is really good about explaining the arguments on climate change that we still see going on today. Check it out.

Hey guys. Today's song is Carry On by Kygo & Charlie Puth featuring Dua Lipa.

Kygo is the stage name for Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, a Norwegian DJ active since 2010. He learned how to produce music through YouTube tutorials, and left college halfway through a business and finance degree so he could pursue music fulltime. He started releasing singles in 2013, and gained international fame in 2014 with a song featuring Conrad Sewell. Through his career, he's released 4 albums so far, the first in 2016 and the most recent in 2022. Since I've featured the other two before, I'm  gonna go through it fast. Charlie Puth is an American singer, active since 2009 with the start of his YouTube channel. He self released an EP in 2010 then was signed in 2011, but left the label in 2012. He released another independent EP in 2013 then signed with another label in 2015. Since then he's released three albums, one in 2016, 2018, and 2022. Dua Lipa is an English and Albanian musician active since 2014. She signed with a label and has released two albums, one in 2017 and another in 2020, which she spent 2022 doing the tour for. I'm never sure whose photo to put up when it comes to songs with more than two artists on it, but I just went with what was on the video, so hopefully that works fine. Anyway, enjoy the song!
