Hey guys. Today's song is Work Song by Hozier.

Hozier is Andrew Hozier-Byrne, and Irish singer whose been around since 2008. He was part of a choral ensemble called Anúna starting in 2009, and he toured with them internationally. He released his debut EP in 2013 and it became huge. He released his second EP in 2014, followed quickly by his debut album. He did some performances in 2015, but then kind of disappeared from the music scene until his next EP in 2018. His second album was released in 2019, followed by a worldwide tour and some festival performances. In 2020 he did a lot of fundraising, livestreaming for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and performing at the RTÉ Does Comic Relief Special for pandemic relief. He announced his next album in 2021, and an EP was released this year with another one on the way later in the year. Enjoy!

Hey guys. Today's song is Wellerman by Nathan Evans.

You guys have no idea how long this has been sitting there for me to showcase it, but I could never find a good spot to slip it in. So Nathan Evans is a Scottish singer active since 2020 when his renditions of sea shanties went viral on TikTok, which led to other people joining in and creating something amazing. I've included this reaction video showing a bunch of the additions of people and also this remix version that I think is great as well. The popularity earned him a record deal and they released an official cover of the song (which I'm featuring today) along with some other songs in 2021. He released his debut album in 2022 so you should go check that out if you're interested. As for this sea shanty, the story is based on the 18th century whaling industry where the crew is waiting for the wellerman (which were the employees of the Weller brothers who would bring provisions to the whalers. It you're curious look up the history of the industry, and check out some other shanties while you're at it.

Hey guys. Today's song is Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran.

I've featured Ed Sheeran before and I'm pretty sure that everyone knows who he is by now so I'm going to go through this fast. He's always been musical, singing from an early age and playing both guitar and cello. He also was a theatre kid, joining the production of Frankenstein through Youth Music Theatre UK in 2007. He started recording music in 2004, releasing some stuff independently then started playing gigs with his friend Michael Rosenberg (aka Passenger) in 2006. In 2008 he moved to London and started playing there, then in 2009 he began to study music at the Academy of Contemporary Music only to leave to support Just Jack. He released an EP in 2009, then in 2010 he toured with Example and released another EP before starting to post on YouTube. He released two more EPs in 2010 and one in 2011 before he gained mainstream success and was signed. Since then he has released six albums with the first from 2011 and the most recent released this year. Obviously recently there has been lots of news about Ed Sheeran because of the lawsuit filed against him by the heirs of Ed Townsend over plagiarism of the song Let's Get It On. First off: I've talked about it before that you can't copyright chord progressions because chords are similar in almost every song in every genre, so Ed Townsend does not have private rights to a chord just because the song it was used in became iconic. Also I have a huge problem with it being the heirs of this person making a stink, because it's clearly just a cash grab over something they were never involved in, but now feel entitled to. So I'm glad Ed Sheeran won, because something like this setting a precedent in music and legal cases like this would have killed music and the music industry completely. We seriously dodged a bullet with this one so it's good to shout it out today.

Year 8, Day 332

Hey guys. Today's song is What A Man Gotta Do by the Jonas Brothers.

The continued ode to their wives in these videos will never get old for me. So the Jonas brothers is an American band made up of brother Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas who were active from 2005 until 2013 and then again since 2019. During the first part of their career they were Disney channel stars, so in addition to releasing four albums (one each year from 2006-2009) they starred in Disney channel movies and TV shows, and on Disney star events and charity songs. They took a hiatus in 2011 while they all worked on solo projects, with Joe and Nick both going on to do more music separately while Kevin studied music production than starred in a reality TV show with his wife. In 2012 they came back together to go on tour and were working on an album, but they broke up before that could come to pass over creative differences and a deep rift in the band. In 2019 they had managed to patch things up between themselves and decided to come back with new music. They've released two albums since, one in 2019 and one in 2023, and like I said some of their new videos have all of their wives in them. I liked them before they broke up and I like them now, but I do think that their career and relationship seems a lot healthier this time around, so I think the break did them good and I'm glad they're back.

Hey guys. Today's song is Sad Summer by Lachie Gill.

Lachie Gill is an Australian musician active since 2022 when he auditioned for The Voice Australia and joined Rita Ora's team. He won the competition, and afterwards starting releasing some singles in 2022 and another one in 2023. He's still relatively new in the industry, having been a PE teacher and an Australian Football League player previously, but he has a lot of potential, so keep an eye out for him.

Year 8, Day 330

 Hey guys. Today's song is I Believe In You by Michael Buble.

Michael Buble is a Canadian musician active since 1994. He was always interested in singing, and had the talent, but his breakthrough came from him performing at a party where he met the prime minister's aide named Michael McSweeney who asked him to perform at his daughter's wedding, where he then met David Foster, a record executive. After some convincing, Foster agreed to produce Buble's self titled album which was released in 2003, followed by a Christmas EP later that year. He did have success before that though, winning some talent competitions, appearing on TV shows, and independently releasing three albums in 1996, 2002, and 2002. After the success of his self titled album, he released a live album and won a Juno award for New Artist of the Year in 2004. Since then he has released nine more albums, with the most recent form 2022. And despite the fact that I first think of his Christmas songs (because he voice is much better suited for classics than many other singers' voices are) his other music is fantastic and this one is no exception. So I hope you enjoy it.

Hey guys. Today's song is Weak Days by Lauren O'Brien.

So there is no bio from Lauren because her name is about as generic as mine meaning there are way too many people to sift through for the right one. But what I can tell you is this Lauren O'Brien is an American musician, active it seems mostly since this year, although she does have a cover posted from two years ago. She an independent artist right now, so no label to help her, but she definitely has potential in the industry. So if you're in Nashville keep a lookout for her and maybe we'll see her signed in the near future.

Hey guys. Today's song is You're Not Alone by Allison Russell featuring Brandi Carlile.

Allison Russel is a Canadian musician active since 1999. She was originally in a group called Fear of Drinking before joining the group Po'Girl in 2003, releasing seven albums with them before leaving that group and staring a new one with her now husband JT Nero called Birds of Chicago in 2012. She released three albums, a live album, and an EP with that group, with one album and the EP released in 2018. Also in 2018 she joined the collective called Our Native Daughters, releasing an album in 2019. She started releasing solo stuff in 2021, doing a couple singles before releasing her debut album, which deals with trauma of her child abuse, and she received three Grammy nominations for it. This song was released in 2022, and is a re-done song form her 2019 Our Native Daughters album. Brandi Carlile is an American musician active since 2004, playing the club scene with brothers Phil and Tim Hanseroth before signing with a label in 2004 and releasing her debut album in 2005. Her and the boys then toured for two years while working on the next album released in 2007, which contained songs that went on to be featured in commercials, movies, and TV shows earning her more commercial recognition and success. Since then she has released six more albums, with the most recent ones released in 2021 and 2022. She has also been nominated 25 times for Grammys, winning 9 times, including three from this year. So clearly there is lots of excellent music to give a go if you're interested.

Hey guys. Today's song is My Silver Lining by First Aid Kit.

So this is a Swedish sibling group, active since 2007 and made up of sisters Johanna Söderberg and Klara Söderberg. The band named was picked by Klara, as a representation of what she wanted their music to be for people. They started uploading their stuff to MySpace in 2007, and sent a song to a radio station, which got aired. It was dubbed one of the best songs of summer, leading to gig requests, although they could only do them on weekends because Klara was still in school. Karin Dreijer who's in The Knife found them through a mutual connection, and signed them to their label, with the caveat that the girls controlled their own music. Their debut EP came out in 2008. A cover of a Fleet Foxes song, and recognition from that group over it made them noticed internationally, getting them another record deal. They both stopped going to school to tour, then they released their first album in 2010. They released their next album in 2012, followed by another in 2014 which is where this song is from. They've done a bunch of touring, along with releasing two more albums, one in 2018 and another in 2022, so check those out if you're curious.

Hey guys. Today's song is For Your Love by The Yardbirds.

Lots of bands are known for something, whether being the first female rock group like the Runaways or being the most inducted Hall of Fame artist like Eric Clapton (which is relevant for this post), but the Yardbirds are known for starting the careers of many famous guitarists. The band first formed in 1963 and was originally called the Metropolitan Blues Quartet. They played a couple gigs before changing the name, and there are some theories about why the Yardbirds, but nothing is confirmed. They gained traction after becoming the house band in the Crawdaddy Club which is also actually where they got their manager from. Their guitarist left, and was replaced by Eric Clapton before they toured with a blues legend. They signed with a label in 1964 and finally got a song that topped the charts. Clapton didn't like it, hating the commercial approach of pure blues and left, but recommended a new guitarist before he took off. That guitarist was Jimmy Page but he didn't feel prepared to enter the group for a number of reasons so he suggested Jeff Beck. Beck brought a different sound to the group which was on par with where British music was heading at the time, so the group took the opportunity to experiment with new genres, making some eclectic sounding music. This is when the band really hit their stride. In 1966 the bassist quit at a drunken gig and Jimmy Page, who was in attendance, agreed to play until another member was rehearsed enough to take over. Page went on tour with them, and ended up taking over guitar when Beck got sick, finishing out the tour. Once Beck was able to come back, they both stayed and it became a dual guitar band. With more popularity around the guitarists Beck ended up doing solo work, gravitating away from the band, and eventually left. Page stayed on as the guitarist, and the band continued to try more eclectic things, touring a lot, but their popularity was starting to wane. By 1968 all the members were drifting into other interests, either pursuing a different style of music or other artsy profession but they agreed to do one last tour together. Page and others briefly performed as the New Yardbirds before finally ending up with the Led Zeppelin name (which I think you all know by now). That was it for the Yardbirds until they made a comeback in 1992, releasing a new album in 2003, touring, and having all kinds of members switching in and out, continuing up into 2018. Quite the history to absorb.

Year 8, Day 325

Hey guys. Today's song is Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf.

So Steppenwolf's precursor band was a Canadian group called The Sparrows. After that group broke up John Kay reformed a new group and named it after the novel called Steppenwolf in 1967 with Michael Monarch, Rushton Moreve, Jerry Edmonton, and Goldy McJohn. They released two albums in 1968 before Moreve was replaced with Nick St. Nicholas. They released another album in 1969, and then Monarch left and was replaced with Larry Byrom in time for their second album in 1969. They had a lot more lineup changes over the years while releasing six more albums by 1976. The group was disbanded after that by Kay, with St. Nicholas and McJohn doing a revival as New Steppenwolf with a constantly changing group of musicians. McJohn left not too long after starting, but St Nicholas kept it up, and legal disputes were still happening about the name even after Steppenwolf came back in the 1980's. The group reformed as John Kay and Steppenwolf, with members including John Kay, Michael Palmer, Steve Palmer, Danny Ironstone, and Kurtis Teel. In 1981 Teel was replaced by Chad Peery and Ironstone was replaced by Brett Tuggle, then replaced by Michael Wilk before the release of their newest album in 1982. There were more member changes before another album in 1984, then the group disbanded and reformed again, this time with Kay, Wilk, Rom Hurst, and Rocket Ritchotte. They released an album in 1987, then another in 1990, and though they continued to rock out after that, that is the last album listed for them. They had a farewell concert in 2007, but came back in 2009 and toured until officially calling an end to their shows in 2019. So this song is on the list because I recently was re-reading the Hollows series (which I love) in preparation for reading the new books that Kim Harrison has been adding to the finished series to open it back up (which so far I absolutely loathe). I clearly am the minority opinion on this since all the new ones have almost five star ratings, but she has systematically taken everything that made the original books special and tainted it. She introduces beloved characters only long enough to give a weak excuse as to why they aren't going to be around, and the ones she does keep act different and have different motivations (and even speech patterns) even though canonically it's supposedly only been three months since the last book. And the textbook perfect ending she gave the series - that was probably the only finale I ever felt book-ended everything in a series to the point of not complaining about it being over? Wrote it off as a dream, which is not only a disservice to the fans, it's simply weak writing. I regret ever picking up the new books, and now I will probably never read the old ones either, as much as I enjoyed them, because now they are wrecked for me. And that as a reader is a very sad thing. Luckily I can console myself with Lindsay Buroker's books, because those are quickly replacing the Hollows in my heart. Buroker has quite a few of her audio books posted up on YouTube so go check those out if you're interested.

Hey guys. Today's song is Mamma Mia from Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! is a jukebox musical, the only one I've featured. Basically this mean that rather than original songs written for the play, it's populated with well known songs, in this case the discography of ABBA, a Swedish musical group. The play was written by Catherine Johnson, with the music composed by Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, both members of ABBA. It premiered on the West End in 1999, and actually returned to West End in 2020. There is a movie version of it, which is where the clip above is from,that was released in 2008 and featured a truly star studded cast. The story follows Sophie, who tried to find her father in preparation of her upcoming wedding, and chaos ensues when all three potentials show up at her invitation. This is another musical that I have actually seen the production for and I loved it. So you should too if you get the chance.

Year 8, Day 323

Hey guys. Today's song is Dammit Janet from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The musical was created by Richard O'Brien who wrote it to keep himself busy while trying to get acting gigs. It basically came around because he wanted to find a way to roll all of his favourite things up into one great mashup. He didn't actually intend for it to be as centered around transvestism as it ended up, but sometimes that's just how writing goes, you follow the story where it wants to lead. O'Brien ended up bringing the unfinished work to Jim Sharman (who he's worked with on Jesus Christ Superstar). The show officially began in 1973 and kept moving on and up to bigger and better theatres with it's increased popularity. The movie adaption was made in 1975 and had both Richard O'Brien and Tim Curry in it (who were also playing roles in the live shows). It became known as a midnight movie, being played late at the Waverly Theatre allowing fans to come dressed as the characters and the trend quickly spread throughout the States. Now it's become something of a cult classic. I may be most geared towards the movie version of this one, but I should mention that it has one of the longest lists of productions of any of the musicals I'm showcasing this week. So both versions are pretty damn popular. Hope you check it out.

Year 8, Day 322

Hey guys. Today's song is Cell Block Tango from Chicago.

Chicago didn't start as a musical, originally it was a play written by Maurine Dallas Watkins, who was a reporter during the era when the world became obsessed with female killers. In the 20's women were starting to use their sexuality as a tool, and many women were acquitted by all male juries for their crimes. Watkins was assigned to two of these cases specifically, from which the characters were based. Those were the trials of Beulah Annan (Roxie Hart) and Belva Gaertner (Velma Kelly). Her columns on the trial became so popular that she chose to write the play. The play ended up on Broadway in 1926 and had 172 performances. It then sparked two movies Chicago (1927) and Roxie Hart (1942) before Bob Fosse's wife suggested it would be a good musical. Watkins repeatedly declined his offer to buy it, but he obtained the rights with some others when she died. Josh Kander and Fred Ebb wrote the music, while Fosse and Ebb did the book. The musical was originally on Broadway in 1975 but has been done over, over, and over again. I would list every instance, but there is just so many. The musical was made into a movie in 2002 where this song comes from. I love the movie, but I have also seen a production of Chicago when it toured in my city. It's a great production so see it if you get the chance.

Year 8, Day 321

Hey guys. Today's song is Beautiful from Heathers: The Musical.

The Heathers is not as big as the other musicals, but it is one of my new all time favourites. It's based off of the 1988 film Heathers, with Laurence O'Keefe and Kevin Murphy developing both the book and the music. They started with a table reading and performing it as a concert in 2010, but it wasn't until 2013 when the show gained success with it's first true shows for a two month run in LA. They moved to off-Broadway in the same year with some of the same cast including Barrett Wilbert Weed reprising her role as Veronica. They did a cast album in 2014, and their off-Broadway run ended not long after. Since then the show has been done in San Francisco, St. Louis, Sydney, and off the West End. Barrett has since been in Mean Girls which I featured a previous musical week and she continues to impress me with her vocals. Hope you enjoy it.

Hey guys. Today's song is Beauty School Dropout from Grease.

This musical was written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, and if any of you know The Outsiders, you know why it's called Grease. It was written to subvert 50's tropes and it actually does a pretty good job while also dealing with some serious issues. It was first performed in 1971 in a nightclub and eventually moved on to theatres and then to Broadway, having the longest Broadway run by 1980. The movie saw some changes to plot and adding songs written by John Farrer, changes that have in some cases been added to revivals of the musical. We don't talk about Grease 2 because like Jim Jacobs, I do not approve of it, so let's all pretend it doesn't exist. I've actually seen a production of Grease when I went to California in school and it was awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Year 8, Day 319

Hey guys. Today's song is Waving Through A Window from Dear Evan Hansen.

Dear Evan Hansen is one of the more recent musicals, premiering in 2015 before moving to Broadway in 2016. The book is written by Steven Levenson with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and it earned six Tony Awards in its initial run. There has also recently been a film adaption released in 2021 with Ben Platt reprising his lead role, although that film adaption really was not received well. I can't really comment on it because I haven't seen the stage production or the movie, but it is on my list. The story follows Evan Hansen, who is a loner with social anxiety and depression (sounds familiar), whose actions cause him to mistakenly be seen as a close friend of another boy who commits suicide and the events that follow from that. It's not a very good description from me, but it's hard to break it down in a way that makes sense and sounds promising. I love the music from it, and the songs put the mental health discussion in the spotlight which is necessary in our generation. So if you want to look into it more, check out the movie or just some performances of the songs. They're great.

Hey guys. Today's song is My Favorite Things from The Sound Of Music.

Most people know the Sound of Music from the movie, which is also where the song above is from, but it actually was a musical first, premiering on Broadway in 1959. Based on the 1949 memoir of Maria von Trapp, the musical's book was written by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. When the musical first opened, it received five Tony Awards and has had eight revivals, along with the film adaption with Julie Andrews. The story follows Maria who, while debating what path to follow in her life, falls in love with a German captain and his children and they all plan to flee the Nazi regime together. Some of the musical is fabricated, but parts of it are true and if you're interested in the real story you should check out Maria's memoir. Even if you're someone who has never seen the Sound of Music, certain songs like the one I'm featuring today have become staples in society and have most likely been in your brain from some time or another. So for today I leave you with this one to remember and enjoy.

Hey guys. Today's song is Ohio from Wonderful Town.

So this might be the only musical I'm featuring that I've never actually seen. Wonderful Town is a musical from 1953 with book by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov, with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. It was based on an autobiography from Ruth McKenney that was then made into a different play, then made into this one and is so changed that it's not biographical anymore, but is a fiction story following two sisters and their aspirations to be a writer and an actress. It premiered on Broadway in 1953 and won five Tony Awards and has been revived four times since, with a Broadway revival in 2003. While not necessarily that popular as a whole, some of its songs (like this one) crop up once in awhile so I figured I'd feature it anyway.

Year 8, Day 316

Hey guys. Today's song is No One Is Alone from Into The Woods.

This signals the beginning of another musical week (or a little longer to get all the songs I have saved out of my queue, and what better way to start than with Into The Woods which has a special place in my heart since it's one that I saw performed by my classmates while I was in high school and that was my first introduction to it. Into The Woods is a musical from 1987 with the book written by James Lapine and music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. This was actually the second time the two had teamed up, first with another musical from 1984. Into the Woods won multiple Tony's with its first debut and has been revived twelve times, with the most recent from this year. Plus obviously there was the feature film of it, which is what I've featured here. It was released in 2014 and was nominated for both Golden Globe and Academy Awards. The story is based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tales, which are the fairy tales you know but in their darkest forms before they were disney-fied. It's put together really well and Sondheim (as usual) is a genius with the music, so if you can see it live, but if not give the movie adaption a go and bask in the wonder that is Into The Woods.

Hey guys. Today's song is Gave It Back Broken by Callista Clark.

Callista Clark is an American singer active since 2021, although she was signed earlier. She has been singing her whole life, and learned to play the ukulele when she was 11. After posting a cover of a Creedence Clearwater Revival song on Facebook went viral, she was signed with a label at 15. Her debut EP was released in 2021, followed by a performance at the Grand Ole Oprey and opening for Chris Young on his tour. She released her debut album in 2022 and I'm sure we'll see more form her soon, so check it out.

Hey guys. Today's song is Hey Cowboy by Devon Cole.

Devon Cole is a Canadian artist active since 2020 when the pandemic caused a pause in her normal life progression of studying psychology which allowed her to focus on music. She had been in choirs growing up, and did songwriting on her own. She also auditioned for and was part of the Young Canadians (a performance group) for a year. Cole got involved in TikTok, doing some open verse challenges, and posting some original work as well. In fact, the song from her that I featured before was spawned from her response of creating a verse to music put together and posted by John Mark Nelson, her response going viral and leading to it being an actual single released in 2022 with a label. Since then she has done more songs, including this one which I've kind of grown obsessed with. She was nominated for a Juno for Breakthrough Artist of the Year this year and I really think she deserved to win. Either way, she is a breakthrough artist on my list so I hope you check out her stuff.

Hey guys. Today's song is Rest In Peace by Taylor Austin Dye.

Taylor Austin Dye is another newer artist, and one whose stuff went viral on TikTok leading to the release of this song. She writes with a team, with two people named Nicole and Chris, and they all threw this song together. Taylor started to post on TikTok in 2020 as a creative outlet during the pandemic, and through the engagement of clips of songs she was able to accurately read which would be popular. She did this with eight songs before this one, but this one hit the biggest and is what she's known for. The video was released a couple months ago, so if you haven't heard it check it out and keep an eye out for her in the future.

Hey guys. Today's song is When I Look Back by Dylan Marlowe.

Dylan Marlowe is an American musician active since about 2020. He first got into music in high school when he started playing guitar and writing his own stuff, but he didn't get serious about it until a few years later. After a year of college and then two more of working with his dad, his dad gave him the push to go pursue his music dream. So he went to Nashville and I guess the rest is history. He's released a couple singles since then and was touring with Cole Swindell in 2022, so he's on an upward tick in his career and I'm interested to see where it goes.

Hey guys. Today's song is People Like Me by Lauren Weintraub.

Lauren Weintraub is an American singer active since at least 2017 when she moved to Nashville to attend university and started making the rounds performing music. In 2018 she auditioned for America's Got Talent, but was eliminated during the auditions. She started to do songwriting officially in 2019, signing with a joint venture between another artist and a publishing company. She's been releasing singles since 2021, but it was her single Boston in 2022 that got her a lot of recognition online through TikTok. Since then she released an EP in 2022 and this song specifically is her newest released this year. Now I did feature her only a couple days ago which I usually don't do (especially this close together) but I'm working on cleaning out all my saved songs so I'm making an exception this time.

Hey guys. Today's song is Fall Into You by Houses On The Hill.

So I can't find any bio at all about Houses On The Hill, the only thing I know for sure is they are another artist working with Epidemic Sound which has easily become my favorite place to find music. It shouldn't be a surprise considering how many artist I've featured from Epidemic Sound so I'd say it's one of the best overall things I found while doing this blog. I will definitely still be checking their channels when I'm done with the blog for good.

Hey guys. Today's song is You Set My World On Fire by Loving Caliber.

So Loving Caliber is a trio from Sweden active since 2013, and made up of Michael Stenmark, Linda Stenmark and Anders Lystell. So Anders and Linda are together as a couple, and Michael and Linda are siblings so it's a real family affair. I've featured them before with some of their most popular tracks that got them some recognition online. Since 2020, Michael has stepped up as the face of the group and they've been releasing some new more folky pop music, so I hope you check that out.

Hey guys. Today's song is Survive My Own Mind by Ashley Kutcher.

Ashley Kutcher is an American musician active since at least 2020. She has always had a passion for performing, but really got into doing music while she was in college doing a nursing degree. She was releasing music online as a hobby while doing her schooling, and one of her songs went viral during the pandemic. It somewhat coincided with her graduation, and she decided to focus on music as a career. She has since signed with a label and released two EPs, one in 2021 and another in 2022. I'm sure there will be more from her in the future so keep an eye out and I hope you enjoy this one.

Hey guys. Today's song is Over Her Over Here by Lauren Weintraub.

Lauren Weintraub is an American singer active since at least 2017 when she moved to Nashville to attend university and started making the rounds performing music. In 2018 she auditioned for America's Got Talent, but was eliminated during the auditions. She started to do songwriting officially in 2019, signing with a joint venture between another artist and a publishing company. She's been releasing singles since 2021, but it was her single Boston in 2022 that got her a lot of recognition online through TikTok. Since then she released an EP in 2022 and has a single from this year that I'll be featuring in a little bit. So if you like what you hear, keep an eye out for that.

Hey guys. Today's song is All Is Said And Done by Gamma Skies.

So Gamma Skies is another artist with Epidemic Sound, but I don't know much about them since there are no bios for them. They've been releasing music since 2019, with this song being released in 2022. They've released a couple singles since then that you can check out if you like this song, which I'm going to be doing myself right after this. So enjoy.

Hey guys. Today's song is I'll Be Waiting by Cian Ducrot.

Cian Ducrot is an Irish musician active since 2018. He was musically active before joining the industry, attending the Royal Academy of Music as a classical flautist, but after a trip to LA, he left school and returned home to pursue his career as a pop artist. Using the skills of production he used while in school, he released a mixtape in 2020. He was signed to a label afterwards, releasing his debut single in 2021 followed by the release of an EP later that year. He released some more singles in 2022 and was a supporting act on Ed Sheeran's tour. I really like his music so hopefully an album is upcoming, but we'll have to wait and see.
