Hey guys. Today's song is I'm Not Dead Yet by Mike Posner.

Mike Posner is an American musician active since 2007. He started as a record producer while working on mixtapes of his own in his off time, the second of which got him some bigger attention in 2009. He re-recorded and released it as Mike Posner & The Brain Trust, putting it out on iTunes for free through a loophole they had for educational content (since his tape was recorded at a university). He signed with a label halfway through college, but went back for his senior year and worked on his album in between. His debut album was released in 2010. He won a ASCAP Award for publishing in 2011, and was working on his next album while releasing some singles and a mixtape when it all got to him. So he took a little time off from working on his own stuff and focused on writing and producing for others while dealing with his depression. He was talking about working on another album in 2013 (but I don't think it was actually released, it's hard to confirm it) then he toured in 2014. In 2015 he released a single, followed by an EP featuring it. His next album was released in 2016. In 2017 he did a bunch of collaboration projects with other artists before releasing a poetry album in 2018, followed by another album in 2019. He also released a mixtape that year, and put out another album in 2020. So there is lots for you to check out from him if you're interested. At least check out today's song because it's probably my favorite one that he's ever done.
