I've mentioned before that I don't need to speak the language to enjoy the music, and I still stand by that. So this song is not in English, it's French. I didn't really feel that way until I joined choir. It gave me a new appreciation for what the song can say without spelling it out for you. Most of the songs we did were Latin, but we did have same in French, German, and African. The western world in general has gotten better about artists singing in different languages thanks to Psy. The diverseness has always been there, but he made it go mainstream. The music itself gives you the feeling of the song, and that's really all that matters. So enjoy this song, regardless of whether you understand it or not.
