This band is from New York, and had been active since 2011. Their name is actually a reference to the nostalgia for the Mainland when you live on an island, fitting since they met in New York. In case you guys weren't aware, New York City is technically an island off the coast of the States. Same way Victoria is in Canada. Current members include Jordan Topf, Corey Mullee, Alex Pitta, and Lyle Riddle. They have an EP out, but are still relatively new to the industry so don't have much else. They've mostly been touring with other groups, but I expect great things.
