NF is Nathan Feuerstein, a rapper active since 2010 with the release of his independent debut album. In 2011 he released a single that got some radio play, the in 2012 he released an EP. He got signed and was slated to release an EP, but split from the label before that could happen. Then he signed with a different label in 2014, releasing the EP that same year, which ended up being his breakthrough. Then in 2015 he released his debut album. His songs got featured on all kinds of of television shows and games, before releasing his second album in 2016, and another in 2017. This song is from that last album, and was hist first Hot 100 single, starting low in the charts but building and building over time. He spent 2018 touring and released a single, before releasing another album in 2019. Rap usually doesn't interest me as a genre, just personal preference, but there are exceptions to every rule and this is one of them for me. So i hope you like it.
