Paloma Faith is an English singer whose been active since 2007. She began as the frontman of a band called Paloma and the Penetrators. She got an audition for an A&R Rep, but walked out when he wouldn't turn off his cellphone. He still offered her a contract later because she was the most memorable. Rather than join Amy Winehouse's band, she chose to focus on her own songs, recorded her first song as a duet with Josh Weller in 2008. Her official debut single came out in 2009, followed shortly by her debut album. In 2011, she got nominated for a BRIT Award, then released another album in 2012, then receiving two more nominations in 2013. She released her third album in 2014, then joined The Voice as a judge before launching her own management company. She released her next album in 2017, and as of 2020 was back as a judge with the Voice, this time on The Voice Kids.
