Martin Alexander Aiono has been active since 2011, and from what I can gather his success started with YouTube. His debut single came out in 2013 which was followed by his debut EP the same year, with another in 2015. In 2016 he started doing this thing on YouTube with what he calls "flipped" version of songs, and those became a hit. He got signed in 2017, releasing a single and doing a cover for the Lego Batman movie, before releasing another EP. As of 2019, he is signed with a different record company, and has added acting into the mix, starring in a Netflix movie called Finding Ohana. So look that up if you're interested.
