Good Morning! Today's song is Do It All The Time by I Don't Know How They Found Me But They Found Me.
So I Don't Know How But They Found Me (or IDKHow to make it easier) is a duo made up of Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman, and active since 2016, but really has been around in some form since 2009. Originally it was a solo project of Weekes while he was touring with Panic! At The Disco, with his friend Seaman coming on for the drums. Eventually he decided to expand it to the duo instead. The lack of punctuation is on purpose, which drives me a little insane, but being with Panic! showed how big a deal the punctuation was for that, so Weekes said he wanted to do the opposite. As for the wording, it's a back to the future reference, which just ups their nerd (cool) factor for me. They started playing small shows in secret, denying the project to the press because they didn't want to exploit the fame they had from being in prominent bands at the time since Weekes was in Panic! and Seaman was in Falling In Reverse, both of which left those groups in 2017. They released some singles in 2017 before releasing an EP in 2018, followed by another in 2019. The sound is so unique compared to what's popular right now which is refreshing, so I hope you like it.
