These guys are an English rock band who've been around sine 1997 and are currently made up of Tom Meighan, Sergio Pizzorno, Chris Edwards, and Ian Matthews. Originally the band was called Saracuse, releasing an EP in 1998. They changed their name when they were signed. Kasabian is actually a name, from Linda Kasabian who was a member of Charles Manson's cult. The guys thought the word sounded cool so why not. I guess it's a common Armenian name that means butcher. I may be wrong on that, but that's the closest I've got. Their debut album came out in 2004, then they went on tour, and played in a festival in 2005. Their next album came out in 2006. As of now they have six studio albums, of which this song is from their most recent released in 2017. So there is lots for you to go check out if you like it. It's kind of odd, but I enjoy it so I thought you might too.
Peace.
