The Script is an Irish rock band active since 2001 and made up of Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power. O'Donaghue and Sheehan were originally in Mytown, and had formed a songwriting partnership and had actually been signed to a label while living in the States for a bit before being dropped. They moved back to Dublin where they found Power and formed this band. They got signed in 2005 and released an EP, then released their debut album in 2008. Since then they've released four more studio albums, a compilation album from 2021, and a couple EPs in recent years of Acoustic Sessions. They've also been nominated for a bunch of award and won about half of them. A lot of their albums have topped the charts so they are clearly very successful, and I've always enjoyed their stuff.
