Hey. Today's song is She's Always A Woman by Fyfe Dangerfield.
This is a really good cover. His voice is so unique, and you can clearly hear what he's saying. Music like this is worth sitting down to listen to in person. The simplicity of him and his piano, but the emotions that get put into the song to act as the contrast is all beautiful. It's just simply well put together and really enjoyable. This is the kind of music that I'm not ashamed came from this generation.
Peace.

Day 227
Hello. So today's song is The Future's So Bright by Timbuk 3.
I first heard this song, believe it or not, in a Goofy Movie. I loved it as soon as I heard it, but I haven't in years. Then today, Jack played it on the radio. I heard the first part and was singing along before I even realized what it was. It seemed very odd to hear it, but was a pleasant surprise. So here you go, hope you listen to it.
Peace.

Day 226
Today is a country day. So I give you Chattahoochee by Alan Jackson.
At work today, country started playing on my ipod. This was so not okay with one of my coworkers, who went on to say she hates country. Honestly, I grew up listening to country so I had to show her that it's not awful. Therefore, we spent the next hour with me playing country songs to show her they don't all sound the same. This is one of my personal favorites, a classic. I grew up listening to this song and know all the words. Enjoy.
Peace.

Day 225
Hiya. So today I give you Freeze Frame by Jump 5.
So the original version of this song played on the radio today while I was working, and it made me think of the movie Sleepover. That's where I heard this version of the song and so I decided that is a fun enough little coincidence to share it with you. I hope you enjoy the song, and if you haven't watched that movie, go watch. It's funny.
Peace.

Day 224
Hi. Today I give you Jack & Diane by John Mellencamp.
Keeping with my old favorites, I give you some John Mellencamp. Firstly, he is just awesome. Writes about such normal day to day things, but makes it interesting to listen to. Whenever I'm in a mellow mood, I'll just throw some of his music on and hang out. I love the faces he makes while singing. It's just so adorable. Anyway, I hope you like it.

Day 223
I have an amazing song for you. Walking In Memphis by Marc Cohn.
No matter how many times in my life I hear this song, I can never get tired of it. I will never get tired of it. There are just some songs out there, different for everyone that speak to you on such an emotional level that you love them instantly and forever. The beat for this song is so simple, but beautiful, and works brilliantly with his voice. It's like a lullaby. I love it, and I wanted to make you love it too. Enjoy.

Day 222
Hello. Today's song is Burning Pile by Mother Mother.
This song played on my ipod when I was at work today. It was really strange to hear, because I had forgotten that it was on there. I originally added it when I was making a playlist of songs from me, Anna, and Sydney for a roadtrip we were having. This is one of Sydney's songs. After listening to it all the way through, I was glad that she showed it to me because I found that I really liked it. So I thought I'd pass it on and keep the chain going.
Peace.
